What it is
Family Respite and
Short Term Care
Short term care is available when your loved one’s steady care needs respite, allowing family and caregivers the ability to take time for themselves without concern. Whether you need a few hours each week or full-time, and whether your loved one is at home or in a retirement community, respite care gives you the confidence that your loved one will be getting the best possible care.
Who it’s for
Your loved one is already being cared for, however, now and then everyone needs a break. Our caregivers can fill in for whoever usually looks after your loved one: you, your family, and/or a professional.
What it looks like
Our trusted caregivers can help your loved one with:
- Personal hygiene
- Toileting and continence care
- Meal prep and cleanup
- Navigating the home
- Leisurely activities, walks, yoga or other physical activities
How It Works
When you or steady caregiver needs a night off every week or just a few hours every now and then, we can send a trusted caregiver to your loved one’s home or retirement community so you can enjoy some respite.
