WHAT IT IS
Trustable CDPAP Program And Medicaid Home Care Agency For Your Loved One
Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is a Medicaid program that allows one to hire a family member or friend as a paid caregiver. Your loved one get the best care from someone they know and trust, and the caregiver gains peace of mind knowing they can provide care without compromising their income.
Who it’s for
If your loved one would be uncomfortable inviting an unfamiliar person into their home or finds it difficult to acclimate to an outsider, CDPAP would be the ideal solution. CDPAP allows a family member or someone of your choice to offer care to your loved one. Your caregiver of choice is familiar with your loved one’s likes and dislikes and will go the extra mile to make sure all their needs are met. Having a family member or friend act as caregiver can also benefit your loved one’s overall health, as potential issues could be noticed earlier, preventing hospitalization and health complications.
What it looks like
CDPAP caregivers offer care as any regular caregiver would, and additionally, can administer medications, insulin, oxygen and more.
You can hire a:

How it works
Step 1
Get assessed
Two nurses will visit your loved one at home to determine their eligibility for CDPAP and how many hours of care they can receive.
Step 2
Choose a caregiver
Your loved one selects a caregiver. Caregivers do not need any certification or license to provide care. We can register your loved one in the program remotely, and will mail or email them the necessary documents.
Step 3
Get loving care
Your loved one receives exceptional care from a relative or friend who they know and trust, or anyone of their choice.
